Senior Associate Athletic Director/Development and Alumni Relations
Tim Folan was promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director/Development and Alumni Relations in June 2017 following previous positions in the Penn Champions Club as Director of Major Gifts (2015) and Director of Annual Giving (2014). In this role, Tim leads all athletic development initiatives, including major gift and annual giving programs as well as leading the Penn Champions Club staff. Tim is a member of Dr. Calhoun’s senior team and works closely with the University development leadership team to set strategy for the overall direction of the Penn Champions Club. Tim has the additional responsibility of overseeing the alumni relations and development efforts for Penn Basketball and Penn Lacrosse.
Prior to joining Penn Athletics, Tim worked in various development roles for the National Commodore Club at Vanderbilt University and the Buff & Blue Fund at George Washington University. A native of Kensington, MD, Tim graduated with a B.A. in English and Political Science from Williams College where he was a student-athlete on the men’s basketball team. He earned his M.S. in Sports Administration from Ohio University. Tim and his wife, Korin, currently reside in Havertown, PA with their son, Declan.
Director of Annual Giving
Mandy Brindle joined the Penn Champions Club staff in October 2015 as Assistant Development Officer and was named Director of Annual Giving in August 2016. Prior to joining the Penn Champions Club staff, Mandy spent two years as Development Associate with the Temple University Owl Club where she was influential in growing donor membership and dollars raised to record levels.
Originally from Powhatan, VA, Mandy graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology from Longwood University in 2010 where she competed as a cross-country and track student-athlete. She earned her M.S. in Sports Management and Administration from Liberty University in 2013. Mandy and her husband, Trey, currently reside in Narberth, PA.
Manager of Services
Rachel Greenberg joined the Penn Champions Club in February of 2016 as the Manager of Services. She is responsible for stewardship, data analytics, research, and event oversight. Prior to working at the Penn Champions Club, Rachel worked in Penn Arts & Sciences, Office of Advancement as a Development Coordinator for five years. She earned her B.A. in Media & Communications and Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in 2008.
Rachel also works as a Les Mills BODYCOMBAT® Instructor at the David Pottruck Health and Fitness Center. She is currently pursuing her Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Liberal and Professional Studies. Rachel resides in the East Passyunk neighborhood located in South Philadelphia.
Major Gift Officer
Jon Kerzetski joined the Penn Champions Club staff in May of 2013 as an Athletics Development Coordinator and was promoted to Major Gift Officer in October of 2015. Jon oversees fundraising initiatives relating to Field Hockey, Fencing, Football, Sprint Football and Track & Field. Before joining our staff, Jon spent the 2011-2012 academic year as the Assistant Director of Football Operations at Penn. A native of Clarks Summit, PA, Jon attended Temple University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Sport and Recreation Management. He is currently pursuing a M.S. degree in Organizational Dynamics through the College of Liberal and Professional Studies at Penn and resides in East Falls.
Major Gifts Officer
John Latteri joined the Penn Champions Club staff in November of 2015 as a Major Gifts Officer. John oversees fundraising initiatives related to Baseball, Golf, Rowing, Volleyball and Wrestling. Prior to joining Penn Athletics, John was the Assistant Director of Athletics for Development with Towson University. John also spent time at the Naval Academy Athletic Association as the Assistant Director of Marketing. Originally from Peekskill, NY, John graduated with a B.S. in Sport Management and minor in Business Administration from Towson University. John, his wife, Brandy and their son, Chase, currently reside Deptford, NJ.
Major Gift Officer
Jamie Rauscher joined the Penn Champions Club in January 2016 as a Major Gifts Officer. Jamie oversees fundraising initiatives related to Soccer, Swimming, Squash, Tennis, Gymnastics, and Softball. Prior to joining the Penn Athletics staff, Jamie was a Development Associate working with both the regional leadership gift team and athletic development team at Boston University. Originally from Henniker, NH, Jamie graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she majored in communications and sports studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and resides in the Old City area of Philadelphia.
Assistant Development Officer
Tim joined the Penn Champions Club staff in September 2016. In his role as an Assistant Development Officer, he supports the fundraising initiatives of the Baseball, Fencing, Lacrosse, Rowing, Soccer and Swimming programs. Prior to joining our staff, Tim worked as a college basketball coach for five years at the Division III level. He coached at three different schools during that time; the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Wesleyan University, and, most recently, the University of Rochester.
Originally from East Marion, NY, Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Boston College and graduated from Wesleyan University with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies in May 2015. Tim currently resides in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood in Philadelphia.
Assistant Development Officer
Charlie Carroll joined the Penn Champions Club staff in December of 2015 as an Assistant Development Officer. Charlie supports fundraising initiatives relating to Football, Field Hockey, Sprint Football, Gymnastics, Softball, Golf as well as Track & Field. Prior joining the Penn Champions Club staff, Charlie worked in the Penn Athletics Ticket Office. He first worked as a sales representative for one year before serving as the Assistant Ticket Manager for two years. A native of Wayne, PA, Charlie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with B.S. degree in Sociology. He has also earned his M.S. in Hospitality and Sport Management from Drexel University in 2012. Charlie currently resides in the Graduate Hospital area of Philadelphia.
Peggy Kowalski C'78
Assistant Director of Events
Although Peggy joined the Penn Champions Club in June of 2015, she is no stranger to Penn Athletics. She has spent over 30 years in various roles across the athletic department and brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to the team. Most recently she served as the Director of Special Events and had oversight of the planning and execution of the Penn Relays as well as other athletic associated events. In her new role, Peggy oversees all aspects of Penn Champions Club events across all 33 sports.
Peggy grew up in Landsdowne, PA and earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in English from Penn. She also earned a Masters of Education in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University. She and her husband John reside in Upper Darby, PA.
Blair Weber, C'10
Athletics Development Administrative Coordinator
Blair Weber joined the Penn Champions Club staff in September of 2014 as an Administrative Coordinator. Blair has many responsibilities, including: budget management, donor communication, donation processing and student worker management, as well as assisting Executive Director, Scarlett Schmidt. Before joining Penn Athletics, Blair spent 3 years in various roles at Hersha Hospitality Trust—most recently as an Asset Management Analyst. A native of Northwest Philadelphia, Blair graduated from Penn in 2010 with a B.A. in History. She and her husband, Frank Weber C’11, currently reside in the Graduate Hospital area of Philadelphia.
