  1. What does the experience of being a Penn student-athlete mean to you?

It’s such an amazing experience! I love being on a team! Fencing has always been an individual sport, but unbelievable results happen when the top, talented fencers work on a team! We’re all really close and supportive of each other both on the fencing strip and off the strip. Sports balance really well with school - don’t have to be burned out with school, and it keeps you in shape too! Also, it means getting to know the other sports’ athletes, branch out, make new friends. I absolutely love being a Penn student-athlete!
