  1. What does the experience of being a Penn student-athlete mean to you?

To be able to learn and explore my academic interests at such a prestigious institution is a true blessing and to be able to balance that with such a passion of baseball is a rewarding process. It is true, the academic course load is demanding and challenging at times, but having baseball as an avenue for coping with the conditions of academic routine, has been a tremendous contributor to how my time here at Penn has turned out so far.

  1. Favorite Penn Sports moment to date?

Lou Gehrig Division Playoff, in a tough loss against Columbia, winner of the game went on to Ivy League Championship against Dartmouth. It is not necessarily a favorite memory but it is a vivid memory. Having been so close, provides a clear picture of where we need to be this year and how we have to get to that opportunity again.

Desire and Demand OR Science, Technology and Warfare


  1. What does life after Penn look like (i.e.- ideal job, where you live, what will make you happy)?

God willing, hopefully get an opportunity to play professional baseball. Right now at this moment in my life, that is what I would be happiest doing, fulfilling a dream, and following a passion.

  1. Ultimate career goal?

Ultimate career goal is to one day become a philanthropist and have an impact of some sort in the lives of others, however big or small.

  1. What’s currently on your iPod?

I usually start the day the right way with a quality amount of country with Tim McGraw and George Strait topping the list, transitioning with a little Justin Timberlake, when in a dancing mood, or on occasion towards the end of the day I like to hang out with Dave Matthews Band, Slightly Stoopid and Jack Johnson.


  1. What’s on your DVR?

Netflix favorites such as House of Cards, How I Met Your Mother, and currently Friday Night Lights, great way to spend some free time.


  1. What’s the one place in Philly you take all those who visit you?

Some way or another, usually make our way near City Hall.
