LOU KOZLOFF, C’65, M’69
Penn Athletics Legacy Circle, Member 2016
To say Penn is a Kozloff family tradition is a bit of an understatement. Lou Kozloff chose Penn for both undergraduate and medical school, just as his father did in the 1930s. It’s where Lou met his wife, Rene Chalfin Kozloff, NU’67, and where some 35 members of the extended Kozloff family would attend over the course of generations.
A Hall of Fame swimmer for Penn, Lou cites athletics as being an integral part of his undergraduate experience. As a dedicated alumnus, he is a longtime supporter of Penn Athletics and currently serves on the Swimming Sports Board. “I am so proud to have been a Penn athlete,” Lou says. “I want to pass that on to future student-athletes.”
To help ensure the enduring success of the program, Lou and Rene have included Penn Swimming in their planning, with a gift of a bequest. This generous gift allows Lou and Rene to begin a new tradition as charter members of the newly established Penn Athletics Legacy Circle.
Many alumni and friends have found bequests to be an excellent way to strengthen the athletics programs at Penn and support future generations of student-athletes. Create your legacy and become a Penn Athletics Legacy Circle member today.
