Capital Projects

New construction and improvements to existing athletic structures are critical to providing student-athletes an elite collegiate experience. Producing top-flight training and competition venues attracts the most gifted student-athletes, while creating an environment where they are much more likely to reach their physical potential.  While capital projects are an integral part in positively impacting the current student-athlete experience, they also play a major role in the following:

  • Meet the athletic and educational needs of Penn student-athletes
  • Provide first-class experiences for all students through intercollegiate, club and intramural sports as well as recreational activities and major events
  • Enhance Penn Athletics national recruiting profile
  • Attract and retain the best and brightest coaches from across the country and internationally
  • Improve the game day experience for the Red & Blue’s biggest supporters
  • Act as a bridge between the immediate Penn community and the residents of West Philadelphia and surrounding areas

Transformational gifts from Penn’s most dedicated supporters can create massive momentum toward making a capital project a reality. Through your continued generosity, Penn can build on an already impressive physical footprint and continue to be a leader in this area for generations of Quakers to come.

Penn Athletics is always working to identify projects that will have a resounding impact on the student-athlete experience. To learn more about projects that we are currently fundraising for please contact the Penn Champions Club at (215) 898-4717.
