Blythe Tarbox

Blythe Tarbox serves as Director of Development for the Penn Champions Club. She joined the staff in September 2022 as Associate Director of Development, Major Gifts, supporting fundraising initiatives for Field Hockey, Rowing, and Squash, and was subsequently promoted to her current role. As Director of Development, Blythe oversees the Assistant Directors of Annual Giving while continuing to manage her major gifts portfolio and sports boards. She also works closely with the Associate Directors of Major Gifts to ensure the efficient use of the Annual Giving team and to help address scheduling and capacity challenges.

Blythe most recently came to Penn from The Philly POPS, where she served as Associate Director of Institutional Giving. Prior to that, she worked for nearly five years at The Franklin Institute as Corporate Giving Manager, as well as with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Originally from Radnor, PA, Blythe attended The Agnes Irwin School and received her B.S. in Communications and Business Leadership from the University of Arizona. She currently resides in the Fitler Square area of Philadelphia.
