Sam Woodward joined the Penn Champions Club in April 2026 as the Associate Director of Development, Major Gifts. In this role, he supports fundraising efforts for Basketball, Lacrosse, and Volleyball.
Prior to arriving in Philadelphia, Sam served as an Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving for the Virginia Athletics Foundation. His career also includes roles as Premium Sales Manager for SMU Athletics and foundational experience within the Athletic Ticket Office at the University of Oregon.
Sam is a proud graduate of SMU and enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with his family. He currently resides in the Fitler Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.
