Sam Woodward joined the Penn Champions Club in April 2026 as the Associate Director of Development, Major Gifts. In this role, he supports fundraising initiatives related to Basketball and Lacrosse. Prior to arriving in Philadelphia, Sam served as an Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving for the Virginia Athletics Foundation. His career also includes roles as Premium Sales Manager for SMU Athletics, as well as time in the Athletic Ticket Office at the University of Oregon. Sam is a proud graduate of SMU, and he currently resides in the Fitler Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.
