Shomari Watts joined the Penn Champions Club staff in February of 2025 as an Assistant Director, Annual Giving. . He supports fundraising initiatives relating to Basketball, Football, Rowing, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, and Volleyball. Prior to joining Penn Champions Club, Shomari most recently worked for Unique Properties & Builders as a VP of Development & Construction. Leading up to that, he spent six years as a Sales Executive in cyber security working for industry leaders such as RSA Security, Mimecast, and Snyk.
Born and raised in the Overbrook Park section of West Philadelphia, Shomari attended The Haverford School. Thereafter, he accepted a football scholarship to The University of Rhode Island and received his B.A. in Human Development. More recently, he received his MBA in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Shomari currently resides in the Overbrook Park area of Philadelphia.
